About the home page

This is a dynamic information page which is revised continuously. It works as follows. The main menus can be found in the upper frame above. Clicking on those frames eventually reveals submenus in the left frame. Contents are shown in the main frame in which you are presently reading. The risk of getting lost is therefore kept at a minimum and you can easily browse through the content of the home page and quickly extract the information you need. Some people have strong preferences for printed documents. A special link in the upper frame are for them.

BASMOD and AMOD

BASMOD is the "big" model with some 100 equations which covers most of the variables of interest for macroeconomic forecasting.

A smaller model - AMOD - which is a wage-price setting labour market model with endogenous technical progress dependent on the degree of education of the employed labour is also included here. This is a small and easily handled model particularly designed for the Swedish labour market.

Improvement of the models and this home page is heavily dependent on communication with users. Any views and comments are welcome to me.
